MILLION PAWS WALK 2019 IS THIS SUNDAY!

This Sunday, 19 May thousands of people and their pooches across Australia will walk together to take a stand against animal cruelty.

We have it on good authority that the Canberra pooch community has started putting their best paw forward and deciding on their most stylish leads in preparation.

You’ll find us down at the beautiful Patrick White Laws in front of the National Library of Australia from 9am, with the official walk starting at 11am.

In addition to the walk, there will be plenty of retails stalls with merchandise and poochy treats, food vendors for the humans, music and dog activities for the active pooch until 2:30pm.

RSPCA ACT CEO Michelle Robertson hopes to see the Canberra animal community coming out full force in support of the event. “Not only is Million Paws Walk one of our biggest annual fundraisers, it is also a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with the Canberra community and their canine fur-babies.”

“Canberra is filled with many animal lovers, and it is great to see everyone out with their dogs whilst enjoying a day down by the beautiful Lake Burley Griffin.”

“Everyone is welcome, including your four-legged friend regardless of the breed, size and age. Don’t forget to make sure your pooch is up to date with vaccinations, sociable and friendly with all creatures (human and furry).”

Get barking up the right tree and buy tickets today! Tickets will be available until the end of event and can be purchased online at: https://www.millionpawswalk.com.au/ACT/home

So what are you waiting for? Come to the best people watching and dog walking event of the year!

“You don’t need to a dog to join in on the fun – only be a dog lover!”
