The RSPCA ACT Veterinary Clinic provides limited veterinary services for residents of the ACT. Services we can provide include:

Vaccinations
Microchipping
Desexing
Dentistry
Radiology and ultrasound - some cases may need to be referred
In-house blood testing

Our focus is on providing affordable services for those in need. Discounts apply for concession card holders and RSPCA ACT members*.

We have highly trained, caring and dedicated veterinarians and nursing staff who always follow a philosophy of putting the animal first.

*Please note: A concession or membership card must be shown at the time of your appointment or discounts cannot be offered. Discounts do not apply to drugs, pathology, and certain veterinary procedures.

Whilst awaiting adoption at the shelter, all of our animals are cared for medically by the RSPCA ACT Veterinary Clinic. All dogs and cats awaiting adoption are fed nutritionally balanced Hill's Science Diet.

All profits generated by the RSPCA ACT Veterinary Clinic aid in funding the ongoing care of our shelter animals and injured wildlife. Our veterinary clinic also plays a vital role in the day to day functions of our Inspectorate, the aim of which is to prevent cruelty to animals. The RSPCA ACT Veterinary Clinic stocks a full range of flea and worming treatments, as well as Hill's Science Diet products.

The Animal Rescue Unit

Our ARU is one of the few vehicles of its type in the ACT region. RSPCA ACT rescues up to one hundred animals a month, ensuring that injured wildlife and domestic animals can be treated in a timely fashion. The ARU is staffed by trained veterinary nurses, and is equipped with essential veterinary supplies so that animals can receive immediate medical attention.
