Native animals found in NSW please call Wildcare on 6299 1966.  RSPCA ACT can not assist with NSW based animals.

Our dedicated wildlife team is committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of native animals in the ACT. Our team of trained wildlife staff, augmented by a network of trained carers, helps rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. Help us save more native animals by donating today.

We assist more than 3,500 native animals each year. For details on our work please click here.

RSPCA ACT encourages community involvement in the protection, rehabilitation, and co-habitation of our native animals. It is important for members of the community to bring any native animal requiring attention to us or their local vet for treatment and eventual release into the wild.

Local vets are required under local veteirnary laws to accept all native wildlife from members of the public.  RSPCA ACT liaises with local vet clinics to then transfer surviving animals to our clinic for further care.

If you find an injured native animal after hours, please contact Canberra Connect or your local vet clinic for support.
