Cats, Kittens and Small Animals
To view animals available for adoption please click the "See the animals" button below or head to our Adopt a Pet website. Ensure to read and understand the adoption requirements of the animal you are interested in. You are welcome to visit the shelter between 10am and 3pm Monday to Saturday to view the animals.
RSPCA ACT asks that individuals wanting to adopt, are prepared to take animals home on the day, RSPCA ACT does not place holds on animals.
Please ensure to bring along photographs of any enclosures at the time of your adoption appointment.
Important notes for Kittens
Kittens may be placed up for adoption in one of our many Petbarn adoption stores. Prior to visiting the shelter, please check whether there are kittens available for adoption and confirm their location on their adoption profile.
Kittens at Petbarn do not require an adoption booking and cannot be placed on hold.
