Every new year is another opportunity to recalibrate, take a deep breath and think about what improvements you would like to see in your life and community over the next 12 months. In 2019, you can make a commitment to provide ongoing support to unwanted, abused and neglected animals in the ACT by becoming an ‘Animal Ambassador’.
Our New Year's resolution is to remain committed as ever to helping every animal in need in the ACT. We believe all animals deserve to live a life free of cruelty and neglect and by donating each month, you are contributing to us achieving this crucial resolution.
Every dollar is spent carefully to maximise the benefit they provide to animals in need.
Last year we provided care for over 2,800 animals at our Weston Shelter.
We found homes for 90.13% of animals who came into our care.
Inspectors seized 244 animals who required much needed veterinary treatment and behavioural training so they could be given a second chance.
