What is 'Pet Tales'?

The 'Pet Tales' series is a great chance for supporters of our organisation to see the impact their ongoing support could have on animals within the Canberra community. Attendees will also be treated to hear from special guests who will speak about their love of animals and the impact they have, not only on their lives but the lives around them.

Have you ever wondered what a “Day in the Life” at RSPCA might be like? At this Pet Tales breakfast, our CEO Tammy Ven Dange will be interviewing some of our amazing staff members here at RSPCA ACT.
We’ll chat about a typical day here at the Shelter protecting and caring for hundreds of animals, and we’ll share our favourite shelter animal stories. There’s also a chance for the attendees to ask any questions they may have. Plus, Tammy will also give an update on the work we are currently undertaking.

Staff speakers include:
Sophie who is a Senior Vet Nurse at the shelter. Sophie works in our vet clinic alongside our animal care team to assist with surgeries and help rehabilitate unwanted, abused and neglected animals.
Gosia who is a senior staff member who works in our cattery. Gosia's role is very important as she works with foster carers, vet staff and other team members to adopt and keep cats and kittens happy and healthy.
Chelsea is a Trainee Inspector. Chelsea works in our Inspectorate team investigating complaints of animal cruelty and neglect.

The atmosphere at a 'Pet Tales' event is laid back and fun, with attendees enjoying a delicious breakfast and while interacting with other like-minded individuals. At the breakfast there will also be a chance for attendees to have the wonderful opportunity to meet some of the animals they are supporting. Yes, you guessed it...CUDDLE TIME!!!

All tickets include a delicious breakfast, coffee, tea and juice.
